Short history:
This M-30C/1 version had been built simultaneously with the M-30C and first flew in May 1953.

Structure:  All wooden
   Wing:
The structure of the M-30C/1 was similar to that of the M-30C, however no flaps were fitted and the one-piece, aerodynamically balanced slotted ailerons were of Frise-type.
   Fuselage:
Similarly to the M-30C, the cross section of the fore part of the fuselage had been increased to make the cockpit more comfortable and the after part of the fuselage had been modified as well to accomodate the new horizontal stabilizer. A new, one-piece canopy, opening sideways, was fitted.
   Tail unit:
The tail unit had a traditional arrangement. A larger rudder - compared to the M-30B - was fitted and the conventional horizontal stabilizer-elevator unit was sitting on a console placed on the top of the fuselage.
